   JEROME PRINCE OF UNITED KINGDOM
Jerome Prince the Model ,website banner photo Jerome Prince the model image on website, www.garthmusictour.comI  was 12 years old when i got offered my first modeling contract with  Juliet Adams  Talent Agency which was fortunate for me at the time because it didn’t cost me anything to get onto their books. They believed in my talent so they invested in me  they produced my portfolio and they added me to their books straight away I didn’t have to pay anything upfront they later deducted the cost from money I earned off my first assignment which is how a good modeling agency should operate.

I had a few good years with them I did a few catalog works and some TV stuff But they could only represent me up until a certain age they represent from toddlers to age 16 however I stayed on until I was 17. At 17 when my contract ended it was a dark moment for me because I realized I’m not getting any taller than 5’5 inches which is considered way too short for modeling and all of a sudden I became unacceptable to do the job that I had been doing for years and the job that I have grown to love.

I have been turned away so many times from so many agencies telling me the same story  that I was too short for modeling  I was devastated. I remember going to see someone at one agency and they sent me over to another agency saying they will take me on
When I turned up to the place there was a sign saying Rage and across the hall opposite  there was an even bigger sign saying Ugly  while sitting they waiting I got bored so I started to look through their book that was laid out on the table in front of me then when I saw the kind of people they represent I was not amused because I wasn’t looking at models these were everyday ordinary looking people and  as I keep turning the pages they started to look more and more like something  you’re  likely to see in a horror movie  at that moment I thought this is not the place for me, for a model of my experience and credibility it was insulting so I picked up my book and left the room.

At that point I thought maybe that was it for my modeling career then I started looking at other jobs I could do that would benefit from my experiences as a model so I signed up with a talent agency as an actor but though I was on their books as an actor most of the assignments I got chosen for was modeling jobs which reassured me there might still be a place for me in the modeling industry. So away from the agency I started independently going to model castings and realized I’m a hit with designers and  major production companies despite being shorter than all the other models  I’m often getting picked over a lot of 6ft models.
The turning point in my career was in year 2006 when I entered into the MR Southampton heat of the MR England male beauty pageant and claimed the runner-up prize behind former MR England and MR Word finalist Warren Harvey I realized I possessed qualities to be successful in this industry. That experience has done a lot for my confidence and aroused a lot more opportunities for me to establish myself as a professional. Working on campaigns such as Clinical Skincare men’s range and being featured a lot more in magazine publications. I’ve also impressed my Hero Tyson Beck-ford when he saw me walked the runway at a sickle cell Anemia charity Event a couple years ago
